We did it!
The team have arrived at John O’Groats at the end of a 1,022 mile journey from Lands End.
There’s been thrills, spills, and near misses - laughs, frustrations, broken chains and punctures.
But the most WONDERFUL thing about this bike ride has been the people. The handlers, the riders, the staff, the biking companions from the services @The_NFRSA supports; the hosts who have put us up; the little children who pressed £5 notes into our hands at coffee stops; and of course the visits to our wonderful services.
It’s been an extraordinary journey, with so much help and support and hard work from a dedicated team who have made this happen.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, for everything.
And if you haven’t yet donated, please would you consider doing so - this bike ride has been for our retired service animals and their families, & we must continue to look after them.
