I signed my employment letter for my first ever remote job on the 27th of february, 2026. It has been almost 3 months of pure bliss.
I have grown mentaly, and I have glowed physically.
I also helped 6 of my friend get a spot tooo.

Now that we have come to the conclusion that the people around me don't care, what to do?
Recalibration!
It means:
I stop giving at a level that isn’t being matched.
I become more selective about who gets my energy.
I observe more, invest slower, and let people earn my effort.

But just as I was thinking about these things, a thought hit me.
Just because you treat people deeply doesn’t mean they’re capable of or want to treat you the same way.
They simply don’t value you at the level you value them.
Now that hurts!

"Maybe if I do more for my friends, they will reciprocate the love," I thought.
So I bought gifts for birthdays, helped through rough patches, gave advice, made them feel seen, and listened through the tears.
And then when my moment came… silence.

All my life, I have always been the invisible but stable friend. I'm always there if you need me, but as soon as you don't, I become invisible till your next appointment.
