Are people really surprised by the Pontins story? Discrimination against Travellers and Roma is rife in this country.
They're routinely demonised in national and local election campaigns, the use of slurs is absolutely normalised, and hardly anyone bats and eye.
@davesgould@LouiseRawAuthor Outright racist and discriminatory practice, people should be facing serious legal repercussions and criminal charges for implementing such a policy.
Those who say GRT don't suffer from racism are clueless. We can't enter shops, pubs, businesses etc without a problem or questions. We can't visit concerts, holiday parks, venues, unless we hide our ethnicity. We're stood on an abused. We suffer from racism from birth until death
Racist attack on a Gypsy home in the last few days. Notice the petrol can under the trailer door. Is this the natural result of @pritipatel 's performative prejudice unveiling plans for new anti-Gypsy legislation?
@Chrissy1b You literally said from war torn countries. I'm not arguing that they are right in any way to riot and burn, my point is their origins are irrelevant to their rights to oppose unfair treatment of any kind whatsoever.
@Chrissy1b This wasn't your question. Your questions directly relate to the backgrounds of these people, with the insinuation that they should just be grateful because they're not being murdered. If you have an opinion express it openly, don't be disingenuous.
