Such a weird game from Portugal. My thing is if you were ok with finishing second in the group (draw or loss vs Colombia) then why not rest starters at that point. Or just go all out attack for a win because even if you lose you are in the same scenario as a draw. So weird.

@americanazorean Obviously someone didn’t watch the qualifiers & friendlies leading up to the Euro where Bruno was arguably Portugal’s best player. He did not play well today but was also playing deeper in the midfield which doesn’t suit him. Seems like someone has some bias towards Bernardo 🤡

1. Bernardo hasn’t played well enough to be a solidified starter

2. Bruno needs to play more advanced, not as defensive, Palhinha alongside would help

3. Nuno Mendes needs to start at LWB or LB, Not LCB
