The assassination of #Charlie has left the entire civilized world shaken, sad & angry.

I say civilized world because the event of last Wednesday exposed the darkest hearts in our society who took glee & pleasure in the cold-blooded murder of someone they disagreed with.

They couldn't debate him, so they killed him.

They couldn't compete with his success in educating our youth, so they put a bullet in his neck.

They couldn't stand that he shared the importance his unwavering faith in God had in his life, so they ended that life.

These are evil people & there is the very unpleasant truth: A lot of people on that side taking pleasure in Charlie's death are relatives, friends & coworkers of ours.

And we have to make the hard decisions moving forward to finally admit that their ideology, their worldview is, and always has been incompatible with ours.

There are those that will be unreachable, and that's ok. Their hearts so darkened by the constant barrage of an evil media establishment so complicit & corrupt that their hearts are too closed off.

But there will be some that we can reason with. There will be some that can see the evil that has infected their soul. And those are the ones we will try to engage with to bring about a more beautiful world for our children and grandchildren.

These are the ones we can talk with. Because, as Charlie said, once the talking stops, that's when violence starts.

So, even though we are angry, even though our hearts are shattered, we will try for you, Charlie.
