#AudioDescription writer & narrator specialising in film #AD, with some architectural, performance art & social media description thrown in @describagram #A11y
Only a week to go until Sumotherhood is out in cinemas! If that wasn’t exciting enough, it’s also available with AD and SDH, produced by Motion Picture Solutions. Can you guess who voiced the Audio Description? The clue is in the initials 👀 https://t.co/ZRQPW1CDBW
Ugly laughed my way through this review of Big George Foreman (Netflix)- In A Biopic That Truly Lacks Any Punch https://t.co/FmXKSiG2mR Thankfully John liked the audio description script, brilliantly written by @BANDREASOK edited by the meticulous @TalkingPicsAD and voiced by me!
If you're looking for something to do on Sunday this free accessible screening and Q&A at the Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham, UK, looks fantastic! https://t.co/mbg4dLjuWN
Counting down to the debut of @SoundArtHannah's audio documentary about the making of the audio description (by me!) and creative captions (by @FuffleCare) for Black Audio Film Collectives 'Handsworth Songs'
Madly excited to get to host this at @mac_birmingham on June 11th 1/4
Hi @JohnEricBentley, are you the same John Bentley who does some audio description VO work? If you are and if you'd be willing to help with a couple of logo descriptions please could you send me a DM? Thank you so much and have a wonderful day!
Such a pleasure to provide the official Audio Description for #DnDMovie, making sure the cinematic experience is truly inclusive. Its an absolute ride of a film. Catch it March 31st.xx @DnDfilmUK@RNIB
@sueperkins@DnDfilmUK@RNIB Thank you for raising awareness about accessibility! I hope you've recovered from that mammoth recording session - it was an absolute joy working with you and I can't wait for everyone to hear it.
Coming soon! The first online cinema dedicated to audio-described film and designed specifically with #VisuallyImpaired film lovers in mind.

@SLCouncils@thepostalmuseum If my speech hadn't gone on for too long I'd have continued on from that quote and said 'There's nothing quite like the magic of experiencing film at the cinema...when the AD headsets are working!'
So exited to be speaking about film audio description at this event for London @SLCouncils. If you're a blind or partially sighted Londoner you're invited and can reserve your place at this link https://t.co/BtDjEVgiS6
4/4. Next time you go to the cinema please consider asking if they provide audio description, even if you don't need it. The more people who ask, the more likely they are to provide AD headsets and have them in working order. #AskForAD#AskForAccessibility#AskForAccess
1/4. Had a great experience @RiversideLondon yesterday. Requested an AD headset & wasn't met with a puzzled stare. They knew exactly what I wanted, made sure it was switched on & told me to raise my hand during the film if it wasn't working. Thank you, Marc the projectionist!...
3/4. ...and that is NOT okay for someone who actually needs AD to be able to enjoy the film. Cinemas need to train their staff on accessibility aids and, like Marc @RiversideLondon, to be close-by to fix any issues if they arise once the film has started...
@FernLulham is a very talented VO artist "showing the world that blind people can voice as well as use AD". I feel lucky to have had her onboard for the documentary 'Ailey' available to watch here with her audio description (written by James McKenzie): https://t.co/bgqsMHZfq4
A recording of the live, unscripted #AudioDescription of BAFTA nominated game “Before I Forget”. Gameplay and AD streamed live on #Twitch It takes about 5 mins to really get going after some technical hitches: https://t.co/MVdXceXZNJ #gaming#accessibility
