Growing up a burgeoning wrestling fan, the best act I ever saw was the Four Horsemen. Ole and Arn Anderson frightened me with their ruthlessness and precision in the ring. I believed Ole wanted to hurt people. I’m sad to hear of his passing. RIP.
A sad part about today for me is how many of the passionate, vociferous Xeeters rightfully pointing out toxic WWE culture and corporate culpability will be gleefully live Xeeting every moment of the Royal Rumble on Saturday.

Of course Sting's run in AEW is the best of his career - he wasn't even a worthy WON HOF candidate before!~
Prior to AEW, and all the way back in 2005 TNA, Sting should have just been putting guys over and wasn't a draw after you'd seen him once, according to Dave.
Bryan Alvarez says WWE is PETTY for issuing a press release touting their success during this past weekend's Mexico tour. As you know, no publicly traded business or wrestling company has ever sent out a press release touting record-breaking success.
Dave used to be so much better before a lot of his stuff was focused on defending his favorite people and promotions from uninformed internet trolls instead of on more substantive perspectives.
@MeltzerSaidWhat He’s horrendously uninformed. New York Times isn’t “working with” The Athletic like it’s some deal they struck. They OWN the Athletic. Also, reminder: Dave & Bryan have worked paid outings associated with AEW events and Jericho cruises. No room to talk conflict of interest.
Aww man. Just heard Rick Scaia passed away from cancer last Sunday. Rick’s “The News From Dayton” was one of my earliest go-to online reads. And WrestleManiacs with Mike “Micasa” Samuda was a huge source of news back in the day. RIP “The Rick”.
It’s so weird to me to characterize it this way. Ospreay worked a match and Dave subjectively decided it was ~way gooder~ than other matches. Like, what director has the most Thumbs Ups from Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert? What’s that record? This is stupid. DUD.
Hey everyone, make sure that before #WWERaw goes off the air tonight that you go ahead and weigh in on the Cornette/Matt Hardy thing and please leave your thoughts on Brian Last as well. Be sure to include a lot of hyperbole in your takes. Thnx.
Talking Sheet is going to have to come back just to help encapsulate all the hot takes on the newly decentralized sosh platforms due to Twitter cratering
