Russia is both a worthless backwater eclipsed by one of the weaker NATO countries alone AND on the verge of invading all of Europe so we must militarize and reinstate conscription if we want to have any chance to survive
No, Russia and China are not working with Rwanda or M23.
Rwanda’s main foreign backer are Israeli defense firms — that’s why their main battle rifles are Galils and Tavors.

No, Erik Prince’s guys are not in DRC to “stop the killing of Christians”, they’re being paid by DRC to fight the Rwandan-backed M23 coalition (all parties involved here are proud Christians).
The T-80UM-1 Bars (Snow Leopard) main battle tank prototype on the demonstration track. The T-80UM-1 was a prototype main battle tank unveiled at the VTTV-97 exhibition in Omsk. Developed based on lessons learned in Grozny, the vehicle was built on the chassis of a T-80U and was equipped with an upgraded 2A46M-4 smoothbore gun for improved accuracy, the 1A45 Irtysh fire-control system, and the 9M119 Refleks gun-launched anti-tank guided missile system. Its defensive capabilities were enhanced with the Arena-E active protection system and the Shtora-1 electro-optical countermeasures suite, while its passive protection was reinforced with upgraded reactive armor and radar-absorbent coating. The tank ultimately never entered serial production and remains on display at the Omsktransmash plant to this day.

In the first quarter of 2012, the Syrian Air Force conducted an operational trial to test the ability of the newly delivered Pantsir-S1 air defense system to withstand electronic jamming.
A Mi-17 helicopter belonging to the 59th Brigade took off from Mezzeh Air Base equipped with the North Korean TACAN electronic warfare system. The system was used to jam the Russian Pantsir-S1 during a series of tests conducted in early 2012.
No information is available regarding the specifications of the North Korean system. However, given that it successfully jammed the Pantsir-S1, its jamming capabilities must have included the S-band frequency range of 2–4 GHz.
The trial followed Syrian complaints about the Pantsir-S1's ability to counter electronic countermeasures (ECM), which the Israeli Air Force employed extensively during its sorties over Lebanon. In 2012, Israeli airstrikes against Syrian territory had not yet begun.
While Russia's usual response to criticism of its military equipment was to blame inexperienced Syrian operators rather than the quality of the systems themselves, the Russians suffered a significant setback when the TACAN electronic jamming system successfully jammed the Pantsir-S1 during the 2012 trial.
The Russians dispatched technical teams, including engineers from the KBP Design Bureau, which had developed the Pantsir.
Despite the Pantsir-S1's purported ability to counter electronic countermeasures, the Russian team's efforts to evade the jamming proved futile when the test was repeated in Syria. The Russians did not hesitate to send their specialists, despite the deteriorating security situation in 2012–2013.
At the time, Syrian air defense had received 12 first-generation Pantsir combat vehicles. Three vehicles were delivered to the port of Tartus each year, with the first batch arriving in 2009 and deliveries concluding in 2012.
The first 12 vehicles suffered from several technical problems and manufacturing defects. They were serviced again at Russian expense, and some were replaced with vehicles that addressed the earlier manufacturing defects but still belonged to the first generation.
Following the Syrian trials, during which the system was exposed to intense jamming from the North Korean TACAN system, the KBP Design Bureau began a comprehensive overhaul of the Pantsir. The Russians were highly concerned about the system's reputation and marketability, and they demonstrated considerable responsiveness to the Syrian crews.
Approximately three years later, a Pantsir variant equipped with a new radar, known as the SOTS, emerged. Its official designation remained Pantsir-S1, although it became known locally and in some sources as the S-2, a reference to its new SOTS radar.
In 2015, the Syrian Air Defense Force became the first foreign customer to receive the Pantsir equipped with the dual-faced SOTS radar, taking delivery of 37 vehicles.
The final two batches delivered to the port of Tartus consisted entirely of new vehicles.
The total Syrian inventory comprised 20 vehicles equipped with the older, single-faced 2RL-80 radar and 37 newer-generation vehicles fitted with the dual-faced SOTS radar.
The original variant equipped with the 2RL-80 radar was vulnerable to jamming. Its crew could manually switch between 24 frequencies within the 2–4 GHz band, but this often failed to eliminate the effects of jamming.
By contrast, the SOTS-equipped variant was rarely affected by jamming. Its situation-update rate was twice that of the previous generation, and frequency switching was fully automatic and covered a greater number of frequencies.
The system with the SOTS radar reportedly weathered Israeli jamming operations, including situations in which command-and-control personnel could not see targets because of jamming affecting the long-range radars used by the air force. The exceptions were the Chinese JYL-1 and LSS-1 radars.
Okay, now this seemingly ordinary videos are in fact highly interesting and raise a lot of questions, such as how did T-55AM1 end up in Libya?
Only known AM1 users include Cambodia and Yemen, neither of which being an adept at selling theirs to Libya.
Perhaps recent CZ/SK sale?
