There was more to Puka’s rise to fame than meets the eye.

Here are the factors that went into the historic rise. then you can plant your flag. 🏁

1. Roster construction- Rams were a rebuilding team so Puka didn’t have a lot of competition on the depth chart allowing for a 5th round Wr the early chance to be the #2 on a team.

2. Route running- Puka excelled in zone coverage and having the chemistry with Stafford to run mini “option” routes to find easy holes in the defense

3. Offensive coach- Sean McVay is one of the leagues top offensive minds and can scheme players open constantly

4. Injury to #1 target- Cooper Kupp had injury’s all off season and battled heavily with injuries during the regular season providing an easy ascension for Puka to take the driver seat

5. Older QB- Stafford is a good veteran quarterback back, and generally when quarter backs get older the hyper target their number one guy. Ex. Jefferson with cousins, rodgers with Adams, Kupp With Stafford, Brees and Thomas.
