Forgiveness is infinite, but preference is exclusive.
You can redeem your past, but you can't rewrite it.
People will smile, shake your hand, and tell you
"it's all good." But when it's time to choose?
They'll pick the one who never needed redemption in the first place.
This is the dilemma of a whore or an Olosho as she calls it.
One of my brothers, a highly cerebral person with global exposure, told me Eko Atlantic is a failed project.
That was in a bid to nullify Tinubu's achievements in Lagos.
That was the day I concluded that ethnicity trumps learning.
We may never recover from the damage that the aberration politics of 2023 elections did to this country. The painful part was that it was all done in pursuit of a mirage. A personality devoid of genuine substance.
One sentence; You go just die for nothing, let me explain:
People always have this misunderstanding that a census means you have to count every single individual, but that’s not even remotely how a modern census works. No census counts every single person; it’s always an informed statistical estimate. The population numbers quoted by reputable organisations like the UN aren’t some wild conspiracy, and I’ll show you why.
The easiest real-world identifier that we are already well above 220 million is the current NIN data. NIMC has registered roughly 137 million unique NINs. That database is heavily skewed toward adults (especially 16/18+), but we can take it as a solid single source of truth because you basically can’t open a bank account, get a SIM, or access most formal services without it.
About 49% of those 137 million are women and Nigeria’s total fertility rate is still 4.8 children per woman (latest NDHS). Even if we take a conservative cut and assume only around 40% of the registered adult women are currently mothers and apply the 4.8 average, you quickly get in the region of 100–110 million children.
Add those kids back to the 137 million registered people and you’re already sitting around 240 million — without yet counting the older adults who never bothered with NIN, the large numbers of uneducated and unbanked people in rural areas. That pushes the total comfortably closer to 280–300 million than to anything under 220 million.
Let’s even say you don’t like the NIN number bcos the data isn’t 100% clean, we can cross-check with unique BVN numbers instead (currently about 68–69 million). Run the same rough logic as before: half women, conservative share of mothers, 4.8 fertility and you still land in the low-to-mid 230 millions before adding the missing rural, elderly groups, the numbers trend towards the same direction.
This is just an informed estimate based on the administrative data we have plus basic fertility and age-structure realities. A full census could produce way higher numbers. Still the numbers point clearly one way: we are a lot closer to 300 million than we are to 220 million.
So abeg, don’t die on that hill, you’ll just die for nothing.
They thought they could hide forever. They were wrong.
A deadly kidnapping syndicate terrorised communities along the FCT–Nasarawa axis—until the Nigeria Police Force followed the trail.
This is Operation Gbagalape. Watch how the Force Intelligence Department – Special Tactical Squad (FID-STS) dismantled the system.
The arrests. The hideout. The victims. The evidence.
It’s interesting how two months ago, Vozinha didn't have a club. Forty years old, a free agent, and had spent nineteen years in leagues most people have never watched a single minute of.
Then Cape Verde make their first ever World Cup, he delivers exceptionally, and in the match against Spain. Made Seven saves, clean sheet and won Man of the match. Went from 45K followers to about 30 Million.
Now Colo Colo want him.
And the part worth noting is that, He didn't get good in June. He was already this good. He'd been this good for nineteen years, in stadiums with nobody in them. This time a lot of people just happened to be filming and watching.
The World Cup didn't make him. It just pointed a camera at what was already there.
Think about how close he came to never being seen. Cape Verde don't qualify, he retires quietly next year, and none of us ever learn his name. Same saves. Same hands. No stage.
You don't get to pick when your chance shows up. You only get to pick whether you're any good when it does.
So be good now. While it's quiet. While there's no reason to and nobody's watching.
Because by the time the camera's on, it's already too late to start.
You have decided to lose weight.
You have at least 20kg to lose.
You are motivated. You are ready.
And you are about to make the same mistakes that will have you back at square one in 6 weeks.
Here are the ones I see most often.
And what to do instead.
Thread:
Do not allow Messi fans Gaslight you using"most trophies and individual honors" as a Metric for the GOAT debate 😂
Up until 2025, Dani Alves had the highest number of trophies won, nobody referred to him as the undisputed GOAT of football.
Before Messi and Ronaldo, Michel Platini was the untouchable king with his consecutive Ballon d'Ors. No one referred to him as the GOAT of football because he had most ballon D’or.
It is pure, unadulterated recency bias.
The second Messi statistically catches up, the goalposts magically shift.
The same way they invented Knock out Goals that wasn’t a metric in 2010 World Cup when he had zero knock out goal, the same way International trophy doesn’t matter to be the GoAT but immediately he has one, it suddenly matters.
Let’s never forget how they started using Goal and Assist as a metric since Ronaldo started having more Goals.
No allow them Gaslight you.
Viva Ronaldo.
Siuuuuuu.
When a woman is 18-25 she wants a man in 30s+ and it's okay, but when a 30+ man says he wants a woman 18-25 they say its predatory, what's with the shifting of goal posts?
