How anomalous has the severe weather been this summer in the Mid-South? Based on warnings, 2023 has been the busiest year since 2009 with 179 SVRs from Jun 1- Jul 22. The previous 4 years have been much less active with an average of 33 warnings for the same period. @nwsmemphis
