Yes — the defense was weak. Who tries a murder case and puts on no witnesses, no experts, no defendant? That is a fair criticism.

It does not make #CalebFlynn innocent. It means the defense had almost nothing to put in front of twelve people.

Denial is understandable from a mother hurting after learning what her son was capable of doing—but a person died here and that’s is irreversible. Justice was served!

Watching #CalebFlynn parents sit through this trial every single day — especially his dad, who never missed a minute — and seeing the look on his mom’s face… that stays with you. They look crushed.

They didn’t pull the trigger. They didn’t send those texts. They didn’t stage a scene. And they still have to live with all of it.

I have zero sympathy for Caleb. None. You don’t get to destroy your wife’s life, your daughters’ lives, and then cry when the consequences finally catch up.

But his parents? They didn’t deserve this. No parent does.

This is what happens when you stop thinking about the people who will have to sit in that courtroom after you. When you stop thinking about actions and consequences.
