Which story makes you inspired most as an Indian?
In the circled picture, there is a person sitting in slippers who is eating food while sitting among the poor people and behind him are two policemen on a bike, they too have no clue who they are. This is not a beggar. This is India's famous economist Jean Dreze. He drafted MNREGA and was instrumental in bringing the RTI Act. Jean Dreze, born in Belgium, came to India in 1979 and got Indian citizenship in 2002.
A cart brings food from the Gurudwara (it has to be accepted that there is one of the welfare religious entities in India and that is the Gurudwara) and Drez also sits with them with a bowl. When they are asked to eat their fill, they give this answer:
The people here are getting only two rotis to eat. I will also eat only two chapattis.

What do you think is the best revenge anyone has ever taken?
In 2004, a man named Akku Yadav, who had harmed and raped over 200 women in a slum in Nagpur, India, faced a brutal end. The women, mostly from Dalit families, the lowest caste in India, were ignored by the authorities.
Akku Yadav bribed and influenced local officers, ensuring they protected him, and he continued to assault women without consequences. Even when victims reported him to the police, he would threaten them and escape punishment.
One brave woman, Usha Narayane, reported Yadav to the Deputy Commissioner, hoping for justice. Instead, the news suggested Yadav might escape punishment again. Frustrated and feeling failed by the system, Narayane and other women armed themselves with knives and stones and confronted Yadav in court.
Yadav insulted one of his victims in court, and the police dismissed it. In response, the women attacked him, leading to his death with 70 stab wounds and his penis cut off.
Usha Narayane and others were arrested for murder but were later released due to a lack of evidence. Justice Bhau Vahane acknowledged the difficult circumstances the women faced and the failure of the police to protect them. The death of Akku Yadav became one of the most brutal stories of revenge in Indian history.
