My favorite part of living in New Jersey is that anytime I mention to a government employee that I'm originally from Texas they ask with the same confused look:
"Why the Hell did you move from Texas to here?"
You've gotta love a state that just absolutely hates itself.
Anyone have any resource recommendations for learning more about upper voices? I've started teaching a few female voices and am beginning to realize my knowledge of that area is lacking a bit.
@ThomasLaVoy @SteinbergMedia Sounds similar to the way @blobtower uses Prismizer. I've played around in FL studio with a similar plug-in doing it live. I love the artifacts you get from the process and the way that the dynamics perfectly sync up in a way choirs can't. Definitely should do the video!
@ThomasLaVoy I definitely will! I've had a long standing fascination with the vocoded heavily pitch corrected a capella sound since I heard Imogen Heap on Hide and Seek. I'm psyched to see a composer of your caliber creating more of it!
Nothing makes my day quite like seeing a student make a massive breakthrough in their lesson. The only thing that can come close to rivaling making beautiful music is helping others do it too!
