Here is my interpretation of the story told in Lily Allen’s West End Girl. Sit back, it’s long. Disclaimer: since the album is a work of autofiction, any likeness to real people is purely coincidence.
The story opens with our narrator, Lily, moving to New York to set up her new life with her daughters and new husband (let’s call him Dave) that she married ~6 months before. Things are moving fast but she’s excited.
Finding joy, peace, and humor in these times is more than just self-care; it’s an act of resistance. When fear and division try to take hold, staying connected, compassionate, and light-hearted is how we protect what makes us human. Keep laughing, keep loving.
@arnpoly Amazing job! I love this ROM hack! I can't stop playing it and to be honest I want to build an at-home arcade cabinet just for it. With that said; do you think in future updates you can add a usable arcade-style "high score" screen to the title screen animation?
My modest tribute to Akira Toriyama, all his title pages & illustrations present in the 42 volumes of Dragon Ball.
