I was in FGC Odogbolu that year.
Teachers bought cars so much that it felt like it was a competition.
My Intro Tech teacher bought a VW Golf
Another teacher bought a BMW 3 Series
A Fine Arts teacher drove Nissan Maxima
Other teachers who were in to businesses now had more than two cars.
Even Guidance and Counseling teachers bought Mitsubishi Gallant that year (automatic transmission, not manual).
I remember always peeping through the glasses of the cars to see how clean these cars were.
It was crazy. Being a Principal of an FGC almost felt like you were a Commissioner of a sort. You had power and they moved like mad.
Teachers had it so good that year.
We must not forgive every single person involved in taking this country’s economy to where we currently are.
South Africans seen on video looting oranges from a truck reportedly belonging to foreign African owned business. This happened today while South Africans conduct massive protests demanding that all foreign Africans leave their country.
Complete Madness.
@trigottista Yariba tribe are vibes on vibes - this tribe live for noting honesty is far from them , that’s why they have fake Muslims and Christian’s. This bastard would never say this if another tribe especially Igbo man is in power.
One good thing about this government is it exposed the people around us , those hiding under religion, activism , comedy . This government separated those who mean well for Nigeria and those willing to sell their integrity for personal interests. This government showed everyone how unprincipled most Nigerians are and how you can’t hold them by their words . Tinibus government is a blessing in this regard
Wole Soyinka had so much hope that Tinubu would do well, and he promised to wait until after a year before commenting.
3 years later, he has been silent. Nothing to comment about.
But he never gave GEJ one year.
He insulted him and his wife.
These are our elders.
