An interesting, productive meeting of the steering group today, working through possible constitution for a #hampshire wide campaign group; just cycling, or all active travel?
Do we need a Hampshire #ActiveTravelAlliance?
More work to do, but good to meet like minded peeps!
When you try to give way to a child trying to cross a side road in his community in Stamford Hill, but a driver with a van full of kids has other ideas and impatiently drives on the wrong side of the road, nearly knocking the poor boy over! Disgraceful driving @MPSHackney!
Please don't ask me what i'm doing on here, but has the @RoadPeace site disappeared?
I know they have closed, but was hoping the site might remain up for a while, as wanted to reference something that was on it (or get it archived)
@CHAIRRDRF@RoadPeace Thanks - it was specifically their single "Crash not accident" presentations that I wanted to print off and give to a couple of local councillors.
Apols for the lack of #textualDescriptions.
First image : very busy street cafe in a city square with no cars in sight.
Second image: a urban street with people cycling in both directions.
Third image: a mass of bicycles of different types parked up on an urban street.
A river
Apparently, banning cars in certain areas leaves a city unable to cope, will become untenable and a ghost town due to lack of people able to access shops and stuff.
I beg to differ.
(plus a river, just because)

Reform UK Councillor @georgeuk has claimed that the post we made about Richard Moore, their candidate for Alton was βslanderβ.
He lost convincingly yesterday in the Alton by-election.
George, and Richard Mooreβs supporters have provided no argument for why any of the information within it is libellous or slanderous (not sure George here knows the difference). We have documentation to show every word is accurate:

George, a Reform UK councillor for Portsmouth City council (@portsmouthtoday) on the other hand is a proven liar:

We think the council and @reformparty_uk should take action on this councillor clearly breaching the councillor code of conduct.
@danielhwright Hah, what brought you looking at that?
Over the last few years raised more than a few complaints about that junction with the local councillors and highways team about how inappropriate that was!
@readmynovels@2wheelsgoodBrum@JACollier1@oodavid@SaferRoadsYorks I'd ask you to re-consider that on the basis of evidence that shows the exact opposite, but feel that it's a lost cause.
