I really enjoyed coming back to Zion Hope Baptist Church to attend “Women of Virtue - She Is” annual event. I was also thankful to Pastor McGee and his team for allowing us to provide information to all that attended this great event about the services our office provides.

We had an excellent time connecting with constituents at Representative John Bartlett’s House District 95 Town Hall! It was a great evening hearing about many issues impacting our State, City and Township while running into friends, new and old!

We are excited to partner with Pathway Resource Center to provide free rides for Lawrence Township residents to our local food pantries.

It is always amazing to be at the Indianapolis Public Library Fall Festival, presented by the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation. Congratulations to all of the talented students who win the “Slammin’ Rhymes Challenge XIX.”

Very grateful to Harrison Hill Elementary School for hosting their Annual Fall Health Fair for families to get information and to stay healthy! The team at Harrison Hill does an amazing job engaging with the families in our community by connecting them to helpful resources.

A really nice event this weekend at Lawrence Community Park, hosted by the City of Lawrence, to get kids ready for back-to-school with backpacks and other supplies! We were happy to be there to pass out rulers and books for them, in addition to school clothes voucher information.

This weekend, it was really nice to join New Fellowship Family Church for their annual Community Day! As always, we really enjoyed spending time with Lawrence Township residents to provide information about programs like our school clothes vouchers.

It was really a joy to read a book with an awesome class at Mary Castle Elementary School to celebrate Read Across America Day! There are few things as encouraging as seeing our youth becoming lifelong readers and learners. Thank you to Principal Carl Blythe for having me!

It was an honor to once again support the Annual Indianapolis Public Library Fall Fest this weekend! This event’s mission is to empower our students, and it was especially wonderful this year because of the special guests, Yolanda Renee King and Martin Luther King III.

I was excited to join Pastor Theron D. Williams and the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church family for a Day of Celebration in experiencing their faith and joy of community as they launched their grocery store on wheels. It will make a difference in the life of Lawrence residents!

Our office is very glad to continue our partnership with the Lawrence Township School Foundation by donating school supplies to them! The Foundation does tremendous work in our township to support students, so we were happy to help. Thanks to Misty and the team for all you do!

Thanks to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church for inviting us to their Annual Fall Fest! It was such a blast to see all the kids and their excitement for Halloween. We enjoyed talking to community members and providing information for them to use!

Always great spending time with students and families at the Harrison Hill Elementary School Fall Festival! We are fortunate for all the leaders at Harrison Hill who really prioritize community involvement and for all they do for the kids!

I really enjoyed attending the 3rd Annual Calvin W. Prather Masonic Lodge #717 Auto Show which is a fundraiser to support Servants at Work, who specialize in building wooden wheelchair ramps for residents of our community.

Trustee Talley enjoyed meeting with Lawrence Township School board member Crystal Puckett to discuss ways to strengthen our long term partnership with the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township. We are thankful for MSDLT and all they do!

Happy Labor Day! Last weekend we were fortunate to attend the Lawrence Community Safety Day, which was a wonderful oppurtunity for people to meet our public safety professionals who keep our community safe. We are very thankful to them on Labor Day for working to protect us!
