RIP, Twitter.
This site has become a racist disinformation & propaganda machine hell-bent on radicalizing people. I will no longer be posting here & I encourage others to do the same for your own safety & sanity.
You can find me on other lively & joyful platforms such as Bluesky or Mastodon.
@RyginSakura Oh man, fun times. Golden Gun Hunter is the way.
Topped off with The Last Word and we didn't need anything else. =P Destiny 2 just wasn't quite the same.
I have some Thoughts on The Discourse™, but here’s my own honest take:
Star Wars: Outlaws is actually great and I’m having a blast with it. This is exactly the sort of Star Wars game we’ve been needing for a while. Kudos to Ubisoft & Massive!
Also Nix is amazing & I love him.
@SuperPonyBolt@MistyShadowsMLP@VanhooverPE Misty’s statements are accurate. The AI generated ponies were sold for $2 each at EFNW 2019 and BronyCon 2019 as custom one-of-a-kind pins made on-site. It was priced to cover the costs of the materials.
I am sufficiently unimpressed by the new update to the FSD beta that I am now disinclined to use it at all. It is not behaving in a remotely sane manner and has nearly crashed itself into multiple stationary objects. And once accelerated towards a pedestrian. Many disengagements.
In all honesty, I’m deeply unconvinced that the hardware installed in Tesla’s vehicles is sufficient for them to safely achieve what they’re trying to achieve. I believe significant retrofits will be needed. But I’m wholly open to clever engineers proving me wrong.
Recently got my hands on Tesla’s FSD beta v10.3.1… while the years of hard work that their engineers have put into it is quite apparent, there is still a long, hard road ahead before it’s ready for prime time. It’ll be interesting to see how things develop moving forward.
Facebook renamed themselves to Meta. The company’s stock ticker is changing too.
What a bold way to just completely ignore the PR nightmare they’re embroiled in instead of actually fixing anything.
@KatharineBerry And I was shipped a time-sensitive package via FedEx, the shipper having paid for a specific delivery date, but FedEx has already pushed it back by two days and counting. Very unhelpful carrier.
Hey @discord, if you could stop actively overwriting the sticker suggestion setting and making it extremely annoying to use your app on iOS and desktop, that would be great. I have turned this setting off over ten times now and you keep switching it back on. Extremely uncool.
@KatharineBerry No kidding. It’s nuts how @FedEx so reliably unreliable here and apparently they’re only getting worse. I wonder if this is a Bay Area-specific issue or if it’s becoming a nationwide trend.
@Steam explicitly locking me out of buying things on Steam because their online order processing system is broken is definitely a terrible way of shutting out legitimate customers for the Steam Deck and assisting scalpers.
Valve, you continue to be impressively incompetent.
