I had a fun first weekend of baseball. I hit multiple doubles and singles. Even though my team didn’t win as many games as we should’ve, this weekend was still a great opportunity to get out in some Saint George ☀️ and play ball!

Had a great opportunity to workout in the DR this morning while on vacation. We started out w/ training w/ the @Royals academy OF coach and @Dodgers academy INF coach. Then we played in a game and I went 1-3 w/ a 3B, also throwing out a kid at home. Grateful for the opportunity.

𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀: Father Casey Cloward, C, 5-11 190 played at BYU from 2000-2025 with a 2 yr church mission after his freshman year. Uncle Bryce Searle pitched at BYU and Grandfather Rod Cloward played at BYU 1969-1972.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: The #5 ranked player in the class and #2 MIF.

For a young 14.5 yr old incoming freshman, Trigg shows solid movement patterns for a player at his stage of development. An earlier than usual Future Games invite (next July), Cloward has really come on over the last year, going from 73 mph EV’s in 2023 to 91 EV’s now. Athletic and displays a quality swing pattern with educated fluid feet on defense. As the body continues to fill out, gain added weight/strength and develops over the next 2-3 years, it will be fun to see where this all goes with Trigg!!
