Join us this month as we learn and explore more about Black history.
Black History month was created by a historian named Carter G. Woodson and was initially only a week long celebration. He had written more than a dozen books about Black history.

We are so proud of our @TalonTechPHS student, Brittany! We had an embroidery machine donated a few months ago and she took it on as her project. She went from “this needs a power cord” to a beautiful final product. (She also made her shirt 🤩)

Our @TalonTechPHS intern, Miranda, designed and drew our new logo. Using tools from our Makerspace, we were able to use it to make @JohnMBurdett his very own shirt.
