@BrandyLJensen Mine sent a friend's friend several hundred thumbs ups in varying sizes just after I'd been in touch to pass on funeral arrangements for our friend.
Once again I'm proud to volunteer for this amazing organisation and would urge everyone to check out the 2024 Collections - books chosen for their power to improve key empathy skills and offer rich insights into other people’s lives. #EmpathyDay#ReadForEmpathy@EmpathyLabUK
@MariaSale8@RobertCohen2@cst An orthodox man would wear a kippah at all times (not in shower, bed, etc.), but someone less orthodox would just wear it in synagogue or for other rituals, e.g. blessings said at home. He's carrying his tallit bag - prayer shawl for wearing in synagogue.
@decastell I don't know where my brain was when I wrote this. (Probably in Montreux eating cheese with the rest of me.) This is Hot Key's house style, and applies in all nine books of yours that I've worked on.
@decastell British English can have either 'z' or 's'. (Unfortunately) the OED's preferred style, which many publishers follow, is to go with the 'z'. I have worked for some who follow OED apart from this.
@FeathersHan Hi, Hannah - I've emailed you about a proofread, a nice one, illustrated young fic, not super-urgent. If you're away for a while I'll send it to s-o else, but I thought worth trying to stalk you first. I can't DM you.
