This is so upsetting to see. I have had patients make these sorts of threats to myself and colleagues in the past. I know people who have been assaulted. Thankfully, no one has physically assaulted me YET!!!

People. I cannot stress this enough. Do not make up resp rate.
ESPECIALLY when a patient is short of breath.
You don’t know who you might be treating and which HCP might be watching you!
Especially if it’s their own family.
Let’s treat everyone like we would treat our own kin.
