So, we've been seeing some interesting videos where Guardians are doing near infinite damage to bosses thanks in part to unintended Artifact perk stacking. Quite hilarious to watch, to be honest!
While we're planning a fix (next week likely), we think this is a bit fun. Go ahead. Get out there, beat up on Atheon. Destroy some bosses. Do your thing.
Just to note: we will be disabling Artifacts in Crucible/Gambit to protect Guardians from being on the receiving end of this.
We tried to come up with a name. The Artifactening? Sure. Why not. If you have a better suggestion... throw it our way.
All in all, it's Monument of Triumph. Do some crazy stuff. Send us your videos. Have some fun. Be Brave.
@SG_Ziiroxx@charcoal150 Then that turns into a “do I want to grind that specific spot for this weapons or just grind this and call it” conversation. Too many weapons and too many things to do.
@charcoal150 Ngl I mean there ain’t shit besides material and a pulse from this. The armor is cool tho. Grinding this is not gonna do much in terms of ruining further content
Things like bringing the banshee into the Control Room and having it drop on top of you as you spawn into the cutscene is a massive part of Halos identity
Witnessing all of the bullet holes in the walls, bodies where they lay
Those weren’t common traits in video games in 2001
