@MrsJBurgin @APSLibrarians @APS_CDavies Have you tried novels-in-verse? Maybe Planet Middle School by @nikkigrimes9 or Gone Camping by @TameraWissinger . Fewer words on the page are less intimidating but still pack a punch in terms of content and literary quality.
