Ahead of Her Majesty The Queen’s State Funeral, a new photograph has been released.

The photo was taken to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee - the first British Monarch to reach this milestone.

Tomorrow, millions will come together to commemorate her remarkable life.

The Queen’s coffin, borne on a Gun Carriage of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, is taken in procession from Buckingham Palace to the Palace of Westminster.

Guidance is available for those wishing to attend the Lying-in-State of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, which opens to the public at 5pm on Wednesday 14 September in Westminster Hall.

The Queen’s children hold a Vigil beside Her Majesty’s coffin in St Giles’ Cathedral, Edinburgh.

The State Funeral of Her Majesty The Queen will take place at Westminster Abbey on Monday 19th September.

Prior to the State Funeral, The Queen will Lie-in-State in Westminster Hall for four days, to allow the public to pay their respects.

His Majesty The King will be proclaimed at the Accession Council at 10:00 today at St James's Palace.
