Our eLearning program is awesome, but nothing replaces in person. Teachers will ALWAYS be needed. Those who thought we'd eventually be replaced by robots were wrong.#pd4uandme

We are finally returning to campus. We are not allowed to teach from there, but we can do asesorias presenciales, so in person interventions & support, w/up to 9 Ss a teacher. Time to figure out a new thing. #pd4uandme

@specialtechie @polonerd @teresagross625 The tricky part is new teaching must still happen online, but now teachers will have small intervention groups in person, so figuring out how 2 do both & not sacrifice the eLearning quality will be critical. It won't be easy, but I'm confident we'll make it work! #pd4uandme

@polonerd @teresagross625 @specialtechie Whenever we start a blended model, that's what we'll be doing too (Wed. remote). I'm very excited to see Ss in person & not through Zoom. A whole year of Zoom classes is rough for all parties involved. #pd4uandme

@KymHarjes I know! I had sent my Ss home w/their books "in case" & then we never saw each other in person again. It was also my husband's birthday weekend. I was glued to the news that entire weekend trying to make sense of everything. #pd4uandme

@clegleiter #pd4uandme Be vulnerable & put yourself out there. I think it's appreciated when everyone is working on growth, & owns their imperfections & mistakes. It's easier to develop trust when Ts feel like their school embraces a growth mindset not just w/students, but teachers as well.

@specialtechie Also, there's still a lot of confusion. Governor said we won't return until next school year, then secretary of education just told us we can start providing in person support. Now we're trying to put the logistics together. #pd4uandme
