@NerdPyle I wish! We moved out of the city a while ago so we live 35 miles south east of the city now which would make scootering a bit rough lol. He actually fully expects most clients to cancel when they realize how bad traffic is.

@NerdPyle And Montlake is closed...and Highway 18 which will only increase traffic on I-90, 405, and I-5 for anyone trying to get downtown or to the south end. I plan to not leave at all, but unfortunately my husband has to commute to the U-District tomorrow so he's SOL.

@bunsenbernerbmd Ollie, otherwise known as Ollie Bear is what we call our goblin, squirrel, cat, dog and after some time on the streets he now lives happily with us on two acres and full access to our bed, laps, and hearts.

@SketchesbyBoze Yes SSR! For me it was pretty much all the way through elementary school and it was usually the last half hour of the day. Kids could read or do their homework.

@bunsenbernerbmd Ollie was brought to the shelter as a stray, no microchip. He ate slugs 🤮 Luckily a couple weeks of regular feeding solved that problem. He loves fetch, snuggling in close, and going to playcare where apparently he's one of the most willing to get dolled up for the holidays 😂

@SusanMacG @bunsenbernerbmd Yes, a vet getting on the floor is huge! And just letting the dog investigate them and explore the room too while they ask questions. Also, our vet uses squeezy cheese or peanut butter on a popsicle stick when doing temp checks or shots to distract the pups.

@bunsenbernerbmd Our vet allows you to bring your pet by for treats and attention to just help them feel less anxious about coming for their appointments. They are also very good at ensuring any nervous or leash reactive pets go immediately to a room which keeps the waiting area calm.
