I spotted this vagrant American Flamingo on the Texas coast, a new bird for me. It spent much of its time foraging with its head underwater, so it took a little patience to catch a moment when it looked up, and the light was right. #birds #nature #wildlife

There were a lot of these birds at Gluepot. Wherever @boyfrombruce and I went, we saw dozens of them.

Hearing a Wood Thrush is easy if you know its beautiful, flute-like song. Catching a clear glimpse is another matter, as they prefer to stay hidden deep in quiet forests. I was fortunate to catch this one with a red berry. #birds #birdphotography #nature
