The theme for #NationalPoetryDay2022 is the environment. I once heard a politician say that they weren't particularly in favour of legislating for climate change; it wasn't something that would affect them. I guess this was a kind of response.

Musical no. 2 of this year, one of my favourites. Casting was superb, every single performance - chorus, mortals and Gods alike - was a joy. Particularly enjoyed Chris Jarman as Hades. My heart is so full. @HadestownUK
Core memory unlocked: watching @wardruna with @HistorieBuff in York last night. Incredible setlist, perfect location, and seeing Voluspa performed live was a dream come true.
Nice surprise on a Friday afternoon - my team won @thelegal500's 2025 Northern Powerhouse award! π I'm very lucky to work with a talented, supportive and driven team, and grateful to see our hard work being recognised.
So I initially bought a cortado so I could swagger around Covent Garden with it, pretending to be a native Londoner. Turns out they're actually really good??! New favourite coffee, I think?
History in a bottle! π₯
This Wednesday was Black Tot Day, marking 54 years since rum stopped being issued to British sailors. Amazingly, some of the last stocks of navy rum still exist today, bottled as "The Last Consignment". @HistorieBuff and I were lucky enough to try some.

As a long-time Mini Ched connoisseur (and because I clearly lead a very interesting life) I went out and got some Red Leicester ones to test this theory. Anon was absolutely bob on, game changer. Dunks all over the originals.
Once you've tried Red Leicester Mini Cheddars there is no going back. They are far superior to the original, but it pisses me off that they are still called 'Cheddars' so that particular cheese still gets all the credit.
Just got started on Sky: Children of the Night. Still figuring it out atm, but it's a similar dreamy feel that Journey had. @thatgamecompany make the prettiest games.
