Collateralizing Real Goods

Most DeFi uses abstract collateral: crypto tokens, stablecoins. But real goods — commodities, raw materials, manufactured goods — hold real economic weight.

What if a manufacturer could collateralize a batch of electronics or steel, tokenize that collateral on @iota , and get liquidity immediately, instead of waiting for traditional banks to process loans?

Projects like @TWINGlobalOrg plus trading financiers could support this model. Instead of banks holding up capital, trade participants could deploy IOTA-backed trade-finance tools.
…Again, Gas Station helps make UX smoother so that for many users, fee-concerns become secondary.

Imagine @BASF or @Glencore unlocking working capital by using IOTA’s trust layer. More transactions = more utility = more relevance for $IOTA.

There is much to say about @GLEIF.

but i want to bring your focus on something else. The Ecosystem that is build on IOTA.

@TWINGlobalOrg is the inception, the infrastructure layer allowing to handle trade easily, digital, regulated and cross border.

It's huge by itself and surely the inception for Trade on IOTA.

But now we are seeing step by step how the ecosystem is built around that.

@salusplatform and @TradeflowM joined to finance the Trade on IOTA. I think here is more coming...

Still believe we will see some form of @USDT0_to, @tether or @usat coming to bring the money flows on chain as well.

Nevertheless now we got @GLEIF. A perfect solution to bring trade partner identification on IOTA as well, natively on chain.

You want to be sure where the company you are trading with belongs to, well it's easily verifiable on chain, even by smart contracts.

I wouldn't be to surprised to see more announcements in those directions. Additional KYC Solutions. More DIDs related to the traded Hardware. More financing solutions etc.

It's not about the individual picture. Not about the single news. Look about the ecosystem that is being built.

A Path for IOTA’s Growth and Token Appreciation

As a previous CEO, I’d like to offer some free strategic advice to @DomSchiener and the @iota Foundation. The goal is simple: create sustainable growth for the organization and unlock upside for $IOTA holders.

1. Build Profitable Revenue Streams
Longevity requires cash flow. Without consistent income, even the strongest vision eventually runs out of fuel. By introducing revenue-generating products, the foundation can ensure long-term sustainability and fund ecosystem expansion. Potential opportunities include:

•A DEX (Decentralized Exchange): Captures trading fees and provides an on-chain hub for liquidity.

•A Launchpad with Buy/Sell Tax: A 5% buy and 5% sell tax can generate continuous revenue while helping new projects raise capital on IOTA.

•Additional Services: Custody solutions, enterprise-grade APIs, or RWA tokenization tools can diversify income streams.

2. Create a Sales Team to Drive RWA Adoption
Technology alone won’t push IOTA to the top—distribution and partnerships will. A dedicated sales team focused on onboarding Real World Assets (RWA) would change the trajectory. With consistent outreach and partnership development, IOTA could deliver weekly announcements of new integrations, reinforcing credibility and signaling momentum to the market.

This cadence of real adoption stories would not only position IOTA as a leader in tokenized real-world use cases, but also restore confidence among investors—driving $IOTA back into the top 5 cryptocurrencies.
