You may avoid bringing God into your hurt, fearing that you will be hurt even more or that He’ll blame you for it, but remember God is no stranger to hurt either. He will heal those wounds when you give them to Him. ❤️🩹 I experienced His love and healing at the most difficult and dark time of my life, and I’d love to tell you about it.

You’ve been running yourself into the ground expecting something from someone they’re unwilling or unable to give. Can you imagine standing at a drink machine and hitting the button repeatedly when nothing is coming out? Eventually, you need to pause and troubleshoot. In relationships, troubleshooting a broken give-and-take process means having a loving confrontation and expressing your needs while you set a few boundaries to protect your heart and energy. Sometimes, that means stepping away from the relationship entirely for a time or permanently when the person refuses to contribute to the relationship. Either way, the problem is not your fault, so don’t take the blame on yourself. You wouldn’t blame yourself for an empty vending machine. You’d just let the owner know it’s time to resupply.
May the worst you face
bring the best of you,
just as the fiercest storm
unearths resources long buried,
hidden beneath undisturbed dirt,
or deftly concealed by
the once-mirrored calm of
now roiling waters
chopping
and churning
with glittering gold.

Resilience
doesn’t arise
in an
instant.
It develops
slowly,
imperceptibly through
sixty-six thousand steps.
Solitary figure’s silent ascent,
plodding through
shockwave blast
after shockwave blast of
staggering resistance
Stumbling
— yes,
more than
standing —
Finally to
Arise.
Last month I visited #Madagascar amidst its worst #drought in 40 years.
This week’s broadcast shows people’s courageous #fight for survival against hunger & famine threatening 100’s of thousands.
Watch & share this 30-min special to stand with them.

Successful people are unafraid to make mistakes. Doing poorly does not discourage their persistence. The willingness to endure repeated failures in order to improve is the defining characteristic of every success story.
Jesus’ response wasn’t to retaliate, it was to go to the cross. He wasn’t naive. Jesus knew the power of love and forgiveness better than anyone. And that power is available to us. Forgiveness can redeem the world. #goodGod#Jesuscares#quotes#disciple#spiritualformation
If you want to become a Christian, all you need is nothing—but most people don't have that. Most of us come with our recommendation letters, our resume, our morality, our money.
Because even when the world is falling apart, we cannot lose our joy. Joy is not based on the world's happenings - it's Who you know that makes a difference.

🙏🏼 God's love gives us as an everlasting hope. God is not just for us; He deeply loves and cares for us, He is present in the quiet moments, guiding us through the storms we face, and holding us in the palm of His hand. #qotd#quotes#disciple#spiritualformation#Jesuslovesyou
⚠️ Life often presents us with challenges, and moments of chaos. Hold on to your faith, the faith that even in the most difficult of times and seasons, there is a God who is guiding you and has a purpose. #quotestoliveby#qotd#christianquotes#hope#bible#Jesus#God#faith
