@AngelaT37108393@mmhocutt Yes, I read the software is already placed into google so there is nothing extra that you will have to do other than create a group and add everyoneโs email.
Auburn University is offering some great professional development opportunities this summer. Three course I know that are being offered are: Awesome Tools Cool Teachers Use, Learn Google Classroom Like a Pro!, and Google Forms and Google Slides for the Win! They all sound super!
@AngelaT37108393@mmhocutt Thanks for sharing this resource; it has some great courses. I think the course on diverse learners is going to be very helpful.
@Erik_Youngman @RFinley1stgrade Great retweet @RFinley1stgrade! My greatest goal next year is to find ways to make sure Iโm implementing this to my students!

@Patandthehat20 You posed a great question! In my opinion, I think it should be both. Maybe the school's server could monitor certain words or behavior that alerts parents after hours about certain words or activity the students mention or explore during their search. @UWAED505@mmhocutt
One of the most common questions teachers ask is โ How can I keep my students engaged academically?โ Bonnie McClelland answered that question for me when she Tweeted. Some helpful resources for student engagement are Flipgrid, Wakelet, or Immersive Reader. @UWAED505@mmhocutt
@RFinley1stgrade Currently, we use Math Investigations & 1st graders goal is to learn to count by 10s. 2-D 10 frames are used at first, but as they progress & calculate numbers faster, 3-D 10 frame cubes are given in the games they play and of course, become their fav. manipulatives. @mmhocutt
