@CantHitWRISP Yeah, I liked what they did in the draft but for me to be able to have any hopium that there’s gonna be change, I need one of detmers/Soriano traded along with other vets or close to FA guys (Adell) then I can start to believe there’s been a slight change

@Jared_Tims I’ve been thinking about it as well and while I’m sure I could be persuaded either way, I think they gotta keep him, if you believe he can be one of the best NHL players in the next few years which I certainly do think he can. The 18 mil will be cheap in 3 years

@jordanrulesTSP @PapiElGuapo @SNPittsburgh I’m not massively into WAR (nothing against it) I do think fWAR is better then bWAR but Skenes has a higher bWAR that year. But also in 23 starts (not a full season but close to it) Skenes had a sub 2 ERA and sub 1 WHIP rocking a 5.31 SO/W that’s absurd

@CantHitWRISP I think very similarly with like Adell, you always saw the power being able to be there, just needs to make more consistent contact. I’m happy with the defense I’ve seen from him at 3rd
