@presidentchima@RotoPat As with most things in American politics, most voters really just think he's the lesser of two evils - or they're just falling in line with everyone else in their immediate surroundings.
@PinguTeer@GoofyWise That must come after class. The ruling class lets you get away with any other type of struggle; it may even lend its aid in the form of propaganda, DEI and anti-discrimination laws, etc.; but only as an excuse to build the institutions and tooling required to suppress in future.
@TommyAlaMode They say that because his body is triangle-shaped like an idealized masculine man. That's probably what they mean.
If it makes you feel weird it's because the statement implies some kinda conflation of gender and biological sex by way of sexual dimorphism, which is cisnormative.
@ItsTheBoat I especially liked the comics because the puzzle doesn't even have to be an ominous obviously evil cube, it could be anything, like a hedge maze, a kids' puzzle, an empty building with a fucked interior layout; anyone could get pulled into torture-rape Hell for little reason.
@truecorrective@Ayzacoder People say that, but compliance's always been the whole point. At this point your devices track everything you do or think of doing - particularly if it's contrary to the government's (i.e. the elite's) interests; one couldn't fight back even if they wanted to. This isn't safety.
