On May 1st, we shall finally visit the Mistshire together to hear a tale of love, loss, and the true meaning of oneโs legacy.
May the Six protect you, always.

@AuthorIseult Ah, seems like a good plan given their recent changes. Very curious to see what you find for keeping your books wide.
Still debating what to do when mine comes up for renewal. While Iโm not thrilled with D2D, I make too many post-edits to not get hit hard with Ingramโs charges.
@mikesroberti Absolutely! You could even set up a handful of those to have hand drawn items on the title page kind of like the original set you sent out to Silverstone.
ATTENTION! Please help me spread the word! The Traitors We Are Audiobook is now available on audible!
I do have some promo codes, and if you are genuinely interested in reading it soon, shoot me a message!
Also, it looks like it's pretty cheap if you already have the ebook!

@AnthonyLaFauci Nah, we all need editors. No manuscript should go out with only the author setting eyes on it. However, I will admit that hiring a bad editor is worse than having no editor at all. Bad suggestions & not getting the context of your story can kill the good in it.
I absolutely use a pen name as my real name is incredibly common & thus would not be very good for SEO.
Besides, having a pen name is almost like a secret identity that I only tell new people about when I decide I am comfortable with them knowing.
@AnthonyLaFauci Howdy! Iโm Tanner! When Iโm not dressed as a shark, I like to write books and create games (board, card, and video). I work as a software dev & enjoy improv comedy.
When Iโm dressed as a shark, I do those same things, but shark style.
@AuthorIseult The most impressive one I saw of those was the bot who actually surfed through my author site & made snarky comments about it. Was impressed until I noticed they spelled my name wrong.
@KT_Carlisle I really donโt get their strategy here. Even if they get the visibility they want by lying to potential applicants, I canโt imagine too many of them will stick around when they see the company showing such a blatant lie.
Feels nothing short of disrespectful.
@KT_Carlisle Itโs beautiful!
Personally, I donโt think itโs ever too soon to change up the cover if itโs a proper addition to the story. I changed the cover for Cora Christensen less than a year after publication in the middle of a writing contest.
@Gnerphk@deidrejowen Iโd argue it moreso encourages low-grade AI schlock rather than discourages it. With a $100 floor for waiving the fees, publishing as many books as possible to get more checkouts & purchases is a potential safety strategy for some.
IMO, that likely means more AI slop, not less.
@BookSpotlight Iโm that way with fast food. Used to be a great way to have an occasional meal at a cheap price. Now itโs pretty much the same cost as everything else with far less quality.
