I am also thankful that we learned how to use Vidgrid and Screen-O-Matic! In some of my past classes, I had to download some more complicated video software such as OBS to try and utilize my webcam and record my screen. These programs make it much easier!

@CYBR388 @CYBRf20 The most beneficial skill that I learned during this class is the ability to communicate effectively and delegate tasks by utilizing online platforms. I have actually been able to apply this directly to my job at the hospital since most of the work is remote!

Having a blog that contains personal information makes it easier for the business to post more consistently and increases the chances of the viewer connecting with the company. Professional posts are still important because they are running a business.

@ljames634 @cybr388 Yes, blogging can be tricky but don't get discouraged! Finding something personal that you can easily talk about is probably one of the things that helped me most. From there you just have to figure out how to break it into different posts and then find supporting visual aids.

A couple of key points for small businesses looking to start blogging include: Consistency and Response. In order to develop a following and keep them engaged, you must post on a consistent basis. Responding to your followers helps show them that you care!

@lrich2506 @YouTube @cybr388 Great video Laroy! I think it is super cool that you have a pet snake. I have 2 ferrets, which are pretty much like cat snakes. I agree that YouTube and Twitch are some of the biggest and fastest-growing online video sources. Visual content helps engage and stimulate viewers!

It makes sense that if a microblogging platform has a tremendous amount of popularity, overtime the feed could become oversaturated with all this "noise" and make it difficult to be heard!
