Last day at the @Section7Az. First game of the day is against the #3 ranked team in AZ, Sandra Day O’Connor. Excited for another opportunity for our girls to compete!
Molly Miller emphasized the importance of intangibles in young players while watching Section 7 on Friday morning.
“I want to know how they react to adversity.”

Man I love watching my GBB players be multi-sport athletes!! Girls track took 4th at State. Girls Soccer won the WDA title and finished undefeated heading into the state tournament. And Girls Softball made it to state with one of my players hitting the game winning RBI double!
As an AD, I sometimes laugh when I’m accused of caring more about one sport than another. The reality is simple, we want every program to succeed. Every team matters. In today’s world, some sports naturally gain more attention due to participation numbers, community interest, and success. That visibility is not created by favoritism, it is earned over time. Success does not happen because an AD cares more about one sport, it happens because athletes, coaches, and programs commit to doing things the right way day after day.
Warm weather means summer is right around the corner! Make sure to register for Mandan Braves Girls Basketball Camps! Great opportunity for girls entering grades 1st through 8th to improve their skills!
Congratulations to AnnaClaire Bugbee on setting a new Mandan High School single-season rebounding record with 355 rebounds, breaking the previous mark of 344!
Incredible effort and a well-deserved place in the record books!
