@bnolivas Social media has definitely broadened what we consider journalism. Anyone with a smartphone at the right place and right time can be the one to document world changing events and share them with the world instantly. One example that come to mind is the riots in Ferguson. #mco435
@AlexisRobison14 Alexis,
This title! Such a strong curation. It is mind-boggling how different what makes good news and what makes good journalism can be. For instance, TMZ makes good news with high ratings, but local media could possibly provide more accurate, relevant information. #mco435
@BrianaBui7 Briana, I am not surprised by this! VSCO does seem to be a forward-thinking site and one that is centered on the needs of the user. Also, VSCO is a site that pushes personal creativity in accounts and it is nice that they leave people's data alone a bit! #MCO435
@kimberlimckee6 Kimberli, great way of putting it! I also reviewed Instagram's policy, and the way you explain this makes sense. We allow data on us to be collected in order to use the account until we decide that Instagram and everything that comes with it is no longer worth it to us. #MCO435
@ZofcikSabina @Scholastic I had never thought about a company like Scholastic using Pinterest, but it makes a lot of sense. Their boards contain something for everyone of all ages and interests. I'll definitely be visiting their page again.

@coffeepapo@theknot For events like weddings that are complicated and need to be just right, you can't go wrong with a Pinterest account like this. Even if one does not find exactly what they may be looking for on The Knot's boards, it could surely spark the idea. #MCO435
One might not expect a football team to use Pinterest much, but @miamidolphins have put this tool to great use to display merchandise #MCO435
