This story is actually insane. The police picked up a 16 yr old girl that was kidnapped by Omar (the guy Shiloh Hendrix insulted) and his brother at a gas station. They raped her for two days. She was found "sleep-deprived, dehydrated, and had not eaten recently" according to the nurse that examined her.
They found her glasses in their trailer. She identified them perfectly in a lineup.
Then, in the middle of the case, prosecutors discretely dropped charges with no explanation and no oversight. "In the interest of justice," they said.
This was just one month before the Shiloh Hendrix incident. During the Shiloh Hendrix trial, we find out that Omar's son, who is actually 9 even though it was claimed he was 5, already wears a ankle monitor because his father lets him wander off and steal things. As is expected, the father has faced no consequences for this.
In Minnesota, a single word is worse than kidnapping and raping a young girl. Two Somalian men abducted a young, vulnerable girl, then were shielded by the government and faced zero consequences. Personally, I think the charges were dropped to avoid their deportation.
On the flip side, a productive member of society gets probation, a jail sentence, and 200 hours of community service over a single word, with no violence involved in any way.
We can't live like this. We can't live in a country where foreigners are above the law, yet get to twist the law into a weapon against productive American citizens.
This the shit that’s gets me so juiced about this planet but also pisses me off bc there’s a group of shit ass people taking this away from me and future generations for money
Y’all are impressed by the dumbest, most performative shit.
Mamdani: Netanyahu is bad but I can’t arrest him like I promised
Morons: that’s gangster
😂😂😂
Mamdani in the post made sure to say, "The NYPD’s initial investigation suggests that mental health may have been a factor."
The perpetrator yelled “Allahu Akbar”. You know what else may have been a factor? Islam.
So long, America🫡🇺🇸
49 days ago we landed in the USA to follow our country at the World Cup. We had no idea it would turn into the trip of a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who followed along, and to all the people we met who made this journey even more special. We honestly don’t have the words to express how grateful we are for everything you did for us.
This trip exceeded every expectation we had. We came here with an open mind, wanting to experience as much of the country as possible. I still remember telling my friends on the flight to Atlanta that I hoped we’d get to meet a few locals on this trip. Now we’re flying home with friends all across the USA.
Before we came, we heard so many stereotypes and warnings about America. People told us about safety concerns, that they might check our social media at the border, and all kinds of other things. None of it matched our experience. This was probably the most welcoming country we’ve ever visited.
So if you have the chance to travel, do it. The world isn’t nearly as bad as the media often makes it seem. 99% of people are awesome!
I heard this quote somewhere during the World Cup, and I think it sums up our experience perfectly:
“If you want to hate the world, watch the news. If you want to love it, travel it.”
Thank you, America ❤️🇺🇸
This is why the early days of CGI produced some of the best effects in movies cause CG was used IN TANDEM with practical effects and not as a replacement for them
CG now has been so overexposed practical effects look mind blowing when done well
Can somebody ask @NYCMayor Zohran Mamdani why he isn’t plannning to arrest Pezeshkian, the president of the Islamic Republic, who is attending the same UN conference as Netanyahu in September?
Tens of thousands of Iranians murdered in two days.
The worst massacre of our time.
No speech?
No arrest?
No performance?
Hot take: Far too many Democrats have the exact same problem as MAGA- You vote for whoever tells you what you want to hear instead of the person telling the truth.
You want to hear about free healthcare and rent freezes and imaginary grocery stores where the food is cheap and plentiful but the workers are paid well.
You are not interested in boring things like tax reform. Agricultural reform. Real housing solutions. Environmental regulations.
That's boring to you. Too much work. Too much reading and math.
So you vote with your feelings. Your ill-informed feelings. Just like MAGA.
Rep. Hillary Scholten (D-MI) on if she will support Abdul El-Sayed if he wins the Democratic nomination for US Senate in Michigan: “I will not even come close to being associated with comments like America deserved 9/11.”
In one notable example, an 88 year old woman who lives in a trailer and has no computer is listed as having donated over $150K to Dem campaigns. Including 47 times to @AbdulElSayed ‘s Senate campaign.
Where is this money really coming from?
Needs to be investigated.
@ListenTower@SamRaus1 He can speak all he wants. But he has no legal authority to do anything once he steps foot on American soil. That’s the issue. Mamdani needs to stop talking like he doesn’t know the law. He sounds like he’s uneducated and if he didn’t know the law, he has no business being mayor
90% of Americans agree that members of Congress should not be able to trade stocks.
90% of Americans also agree that you should have to show an ID to vote.
198 Democrats just voted against both.
