last year, ECI replaced the machine readable data by scanned copies, resulting in an 8x load on the servers. resulting in more tax money to maintain online resources.
and obviously no way to find duplicates.
the ECI should be tried for treason
🚨BREAKING : Indian Express launches surgical strike on Dictator MODI🔥🔥
Modi's government is so scared of your posts, it's deleting them faster than you can type 😡
The Indian Express got the data. Between March and July 2026, nearly 1.95 lakh blocking orders went to Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
That's around 1,275 every single day. One every 68 seconds.
A year earlier, the same Home Ministry portal sent about 6 orders a day. Six.
And when the story came out, the government's own "clarification" made it worse. It said the real number was nearly 2.98 lakh.
One order can cover hundreds of posts and accounts. Meta has plugged its system straight into the Home Ministry's portal, so flagged posts can disappear without any human even reviewing them.
Bro, my cousin posted a video of the broken road outside his house. Next morning it was gone. No reason, no notice. Now he doesn't post anything 😢
That's what they want. Today it's a meme, tomorrow it's your son's complaint about a paper leak.
Modi ji, 56 inch chest, but scared of a 6 inch phone screen? 🔥🔥
Welcome to Triple Engine Sarkar:
You will be raped in parks
Your roads will be broken
We will decide if you get to vote
&
We will slap you if you ask questions.
Define new India.
A BJP minister slaps a citizen on camera. The video shows the man democratically asking the minister about the quality of roads under construction.
The minister lives freely while an FIR is filed against the citizen who was slapped.
> Pay taxes
> Get beaten by a 2 kaudi ka neta
> Get booked for getting beaten
Thank you Modi and BJP. This is your biggest legacy.
On Tuesday, the Election Commission said all was well:
The 14 objections by two of its three members were "suggestions," every decision was "unanimous."
With in 48 hours, on Saturday, it issued NINE decisions. Read them against the 14 notes. It's a U-TURN, not in what it says, but in what it does.
And it still leaves some hard Qs unanswered.
Stay with me.

It's been heartening to see our investigation into the inner workings of the Election Commission travel so far this week. Thank you for reading, sharing, arguing with it.
Now the harder ask.
Work like this takes months, and it doesn't happen on its own. If you believe there should be someone reading the notes nobody else reads, asking the questions nobody answers, and reporting what they find, fairly and accurately, however uncomfortable, then this is the moment to say so.

Why are the questions asked to the Election Commission being answered by BJP’s Sambit Patra?
Either Sambit Patra should take over the Election Commission, or Gyanesh Kumar should join the BJP.
Mathew Van Dyke - a known mercenary who entered Mizoram without the requisite permit, crossed over into Myanmar, imparted weapons training to armed groups there, and then crossed back into our territory - has been sent off to America as though he were a state guest.
Mind you, America deported Indian citizens in handcuffs and military planes.
All this while, some 56-inch-chested paper tiger has been running the country - pressed hard under Trump’s thumb.
Wake up, folks - The PM is COMPROMISED.

Ashneer Grover is correct. This government would tax breathing if they could.
Mobile Screen guards in a country where if not for cheap mobiles and cheap internet, even the 10 lakh youth with gig economy jobs would not have one.
How government policies induce monopoly/duopoly in market,
removing options for common man,
making things costly & benefit a few companies & businessmen -
Latest example is your Mobile screen guard.
Mandatory BIS certification in just 6 months from now, April 2027. No company is compliant in India except 1 - Optiemus Infracom.
This company launched this compliance just last month in August.
In September, government changes policy that benefits them.
Ironically, CAIT website says this policy by India's BIS is world's first for screen protectors.
Who inaugurated the company's facility? BJP MP from Chandni Chowk, Praveen Khandelwal who also happens to be CAIT's founder & Secretary General.
How does this affect you, the common man?
The Chinese imported screen guard that costs between 50₹ - 150₹ will now become costly to a whopping 700₹ - 900₹ according to Optiemus' product listing on websites under its RhinoTech & Optisafe brand range (screenshot in next post).
Can't you pay this nominal increase for 'make-in-India'?
The company is collaborating with US firm Corning which creates screen displays on mobiles, to strengthen PM Modi's 'vocal for local'.
The 20,000 crore screen guard market will now be ruled by an Indian company. You should be proud.

As the deadline to publish Goa's final roll drew near, election officials on the ground began writing to the ECI in New Delhi: the software was shutting them out, and they needed to carry out the Supreme Court's order.
Goa's CEO's office wrote EIGHT times in just seven days, sometimes twice in a day.
"Response... is still awaited."
"The matter is most urgent."
"No response has been received."
EVERY email went to an ECI officer in New Delhi, with the IT chief Seema Khanna copied. No reply is on record.

Yesterday, @IndianExpress reported an unprecedented rupture inside the Election Commission: TWO of its three members objecting on record, 14 times in 10 months, to decisions taken without their knowledge.
Today, the second part of our investigation looks at the concern Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi flagged most often: Who really controls our electoral rolls?
We followed that question to Goa, where we found something deeply concerning.
Stay with me....
