245i is a section of the Immigration and Nationality Act that allows someone to pay a fine and get around status violations and apply to adjust status to permanent residency. It does not get one around green card caps. But the other House provisions do.

I've learned that the language that will be presented in "Plan B" to the Parliamentarian is being finalized today & will be presented tomorrow. It looks like 245i may be in the proposal & not just the registry update. PLUS, all the backlog reduction provisions in the House bill.

@SimonTomasSays @SenatorDurbin Don't be surprised if Durbin keeps mum on the Senate text at least until Tuesday when they're back on Capitol Hill for a cloture vote at 11:30am. I'll be there looking to ask Durbin about the Senate text - specifically, the visa backlog, incl high-skilled & spouses. Sound good?
