@CaseyBriggs I think it’s more that the charts used to be about buying an album and now it’s about how many times we listen to it. Imagine if every time we played a CD it always counted. I don’t know what the answer is but I don’t think it means the same thing it would have 20 years ago.

@palimset @vanbadham When I think back on it, I don’t think he had much of a choice - at the time Australia was devastated and furious. Gun control was bipartisan and the vast majority of the public was for it. It was a great thing to do but I think it would’ve been more unpopular to not do it.

No one had explained what hospice meant, they thought she was having a break from treatment. People don’t automatically know these terms.

@adamrichard My boss baffled and enraged a scammer today by insisting that our business had no internet. One of those people claiming to be from Microsoft who had ‘detected a security problem’. The scammer was the one to hang up 😂
