Zero to one is hard, surprisingly lonely and doesn’t get easier with experience. We’re a true co founder. Come build with us.

Today we are publicly announcing that we’ve launched the first hyperlocal startup studio.

We call it Neighborhood Studios!

COME BUILD WITH US!!

[dave payne @davempayne]

We're about to close our second fund. We don't hire often. Today we are.

Neighborhood Studios (@goodstuffnearby) is hiring a technical leader.

Some context: we're a venture studio based in Atlanta. Each year, we evaluate 2,000 ideas, dive deep on 60 of them, run 10 real-world experiments & launch 2 companies.

Some examples...

https://t.co/Vnx5OOeNBW
https://t.co/0v6mTiTLAp
https://t.co/7azkl3J6kx
https://t.co/ZFeN9XrYZF

They all started this way.

This role is the builder's seat for the companies we launch in Fund II.

You won't inherit a roadmap. You'll take an idea from prototype to product to real revenue — then do it again with the next one. Full-stack, hands-on, days-not-quarters.

AI gives a small team like ours absurd leverage, and this person will be at the center of it.

Who thrives here: people who'd rather ship a first version this week than plan a perfect one this quarter.

If that's you — or someone you know — the full posting is here: https://t.co/tZPJM9YEQB

Know a builder who'd love this? Tag them or share this post. The best people we've worked with came through someone who knew them.

At Neighborhood Studios (@goodstuffnearby) we’re exploring an idea to help ATL-based influencers plan in-person events without the stress.

Please comment or tag if you know any influencers in Atlanta.

Any type of influencer works. Local food and drink influencers. Culture and Arts Influencers. Fashion influencers. Fitness and Wellness Influencers. Etc.

Our focus is smaller, ATL-focused influencers. Ideal IG follower count is 10,000 to 40,000 followers.

You think brick-and-mortar companies are a bad investment and you're right 80% of the time and completely, utterly wrong 20% of the time.

@iononrecourse Don’t worry that’ll buff right out

I randomly asked my 3.5 year old daughter what she wanted to become.

She replied: “engineering”

I swear I’ve never taught her this. I cried a small tear of joy.

Peak Indian dad stuff y’all. Peak!!

Imagine if Airbnb let their hosts do home swaps. This app lets you rent your place to earn credits for your own trips.

Lowkey would do this between coasts ✈️

Big announcement 👀

Travel is broken. Let's fix it.

I'm launching @tryswiftstay with @goodstuffnearby. We make travel spontaneous and affordable through members-only home exchange.

Hyperlocal is tough y'all.

You can't skip steps. It's gotta be a 10x better product. And you typically can't assume venture like growth as quickly as a digital product.

Neighborhood Studios (@goodstuffnearby) is dedicated to doing hyperlocal venture scale startups the right way.

[Tapan Patel @TapAndroid]

@adesome @Pickleheads_ @USAPickleball Whoa!! Big deal!! Congrats Max

One of the main reasons repeat founders do well!

[David Cummings @davidcummings]

The startup adage "chips on shoulders equals chips in pockets" means that entrepreneurs with something to prove increases the chance that investing in these types of entrepreneurs results in better financial outcomes.

So, the next time someone asks, "What does it take to be a successful entrepreneur and a successful angel investor?" Remember the saying: "Chips on shoulders equals chips in pockets."
