@wngrog@CinemaTweets1 I also suspected him for his continuing praise for OBAA.But Digger is better than what he has mentioned here. I have bot6seen many of the acclaimed releases of 2026, but Digger way more engaging than Odyssey both in terms of story and lead performances.
@DiggerRockwell_@Su4ita 100% with you on this. Don’t know how an awful bore like OBAA is celebrated and such an entertaining movie is not even given a chance. Its like every critic is running the same script.
@Tagore1069@ovshake42@missp000 Yes he can impose his will on a game. But that happens once every 4 years. That can just never beat consistency shown year after year and being a crucial member of a side that does not lose a home series for 12 years.
@itsAbhixhek@CinemaXCricket Yes man. This has been my dream since I saw this for the first time in 2011. Both of them leaving their stardom behind and a director who could provide an Indian context to the story could create something generational.
@169_at_mcg@WoakesHive Virat’s backfoot strokeplay is limited. This limitation proved too much to overcome in Test matches. It comes from someone who rooted a lot for his comeback.
@Loyalsachfan10 The 2003 and 2004 caribbean summers were absolutely electric. Although the home team did not put much of a fight, this was probably the last time the OG windies crowd gave a shit about Test or ODIs.
@_cricketsparsh Not everyday. But against batsmen whose wagon wheel was predominantly square on the off side, he would suck the lifelines out. They could not pierce the gap between point/cover for boundaries. Equally or more difficult was dabbing those singles to third man region.
@ButtanKanav@ssymtbv@jammypants4 It was definitely true for part 1. It stayed with me for a very ling time the first time I saw it. However for the second part Dhar really let his ideologies get the better of himself which impacted the overall storytelling.
@conmankachori@venom1s He was one of the first reviewers catering to urban audience to give an extremely positive review of D1. The guy really tries to remain neutral. Whatever you have written clearly indicates that you have not seen his review of the movie.
