@liminal_warmth app placement. There are a million tiny details you absorb about your phone from using it so much. Even if someone has the same phone as you, odds are you'd know it wasn't yours the moment you picked it up. It's just too hard for your brain to convince you a phone is real.
@liminal_warmth The reason this is so uncommon is that your subconscious can't convincingly recreate your phone. Not in a way that wouldn't immediately break the dream. You spend too much time holding it, the weight, the way the background looks when you're not focusing your eyes, the . . .
@math_bcs@LuisHdez2129@HaydunnOfficial Also Whimsicott with Tailwind and Fake Tears is a great synergy. Patches speed, increases damage, and threatens Garchomp (who is hard for Eel to hit without Dragon Pulse).
Garchomp is another good partner for Earthquake spam next to Eel.
@math_bcs@LuisHdez2129@HaydunnOfficial Couple options:
Physical set with Wild Charge, Drain Punch, Coil, and Protect. Pretty self explanatory how that works.
Special set with Espathra support. You can either Calm Mind+Speed Boost Baton Pass, or just Lumina Crash > Eelektross attack to take KOs.
@Saibon_ Frail, slow, mixed-attackers. Mons like Toxtricity and Scovillain that just don't function properly cause half their BST is devoted to being able to use either offensive stat (and be mediocre at whichever they choose anyway).
@Saibon_ I also think "weak" mixed-attackers (mons with relatively low offensive stats) are a very rich design space. Having mons that are geared more towards support roles that can use either type of attack with the same effectiveness is cool. But GF really seems to like making. . .
@Flikment The probable actual reason is that it stands out in Pixar's filmography as the only "non-original" story they've ever made. (It's "The Magnificent Seven" with bugs) They definitely market themselves as a prestige studio with dozens of original IPs, and it ...(cont)
@45mice I agree Y is too difficult to use, but one thing I know for sure: I'm definitely afraid of getting caught out of position against one. Lol. It'd be a skill issue on my part, but that is not a mon you ever want to give a free turn to.
@ShitpostGate In middle school, we had 2 Johns in our class, a John and a Jonathan. One day we got a 3rd John, and someone suggested we call him "Mr." I've never seen a name stick so hard. He wrote it as his name on assignments, his own mother started calling him "Mr." instead of John. Wild.
@LadeNotIRL the big tent-pole games way less frequently than we used to. Only one 3d Mario game on the entire lifetime of the Switch (an 8 year console) is a perfect example.
@LadeNotIRL I think the tent-pole entries are still just as solid now, but more ancillary stuff like Mario sports games, or spin-off titles miss more often than not in the last decade or so. The biggest feel-difference is that development times have gone way up, so we get
@EZRideryoyall that I wouldn't have lasted 2 more days without antibiotics. So much fluid in my lungs, I was in danger of literally drowning at any moment. Pneumonia is NO joke.
@EZRideryoyall Had Pnuemonia misdiagnosed as bronchitis that I kept trying to fight through with Sudafed and Dayquil. I just kept getting worse and worse till I couldn't work or function and genuinely thought I was dying. Finally caved and went to ER and they basically told me . . .
