@robin_ganahl If the latter, I agree that carbon emission reduction is an important goal. Those oil and gas companies also agree. Fossil fuel extraction emissions have been going down, and engine efficiencies have been going up. Or did u fly in on a solar jet plane? 3/3
@robin_ganahl If the former, I disagree, the energy companies, many of which source energy from various sources, should be proud of the hard working women and men that make the jet fuel used to magically take people like you or I 2,000 miles while we literally nap. 2/3
@robin_ganahl I don’t understand- are you suggesting that energy companies shouldn’t acknowledge or ever remind people that their cross country jet airplane trip was only fueled by oil? Or is it just that Kansas city should to champion more “green” energy sources? 1/2
@QuintonLucasKC Well done. As a fiscal conservative, I hate to see government waste any of our tax dollars, but this seems like a great investment in the safety and security of the community. A 1.2% increase seems very reasonable even as just a inflationary adjustment.
Breaking News: CDC officials are urging a return to classroom instruction as soon as possible, citing evidence showing it is safe with the right health protocols. https://t.co/KaGpjiajxV
Democrats’ private jet spending last quarter:
Bernie Sanders—$1,189,579
Joe Biden—$1,040,698
Elizabeth Warren—$720,518
Mike Bloomberg—$646,000
Pete Buttigieg—$323,518
Wait I thought this was the party of “the Green New Deal” and “Democratic Socialism”?

Never forget: this is what ended Beto's candidacy. Millions of Americans knew he was a bullshitter the instant he took a metal spatula to a non-stick pan, and he appeared to be using an English muffin instead of a proper hamburger bun. Goodbye Beto.
