Riley, a graphic designer 💻 in her mid-20s, found crypto overwhelming and unwelcoming for newcomers. Discovering Ordinals 🟠, a way to inscribe data on the Bitcoin blockchain, sparked her creativity as an artist.

Noticing the lack of inclusivity in the space, she became Taproot Chick, inspired by Bitcoin’s Taproot upgrade. Her mission? To make crypto accessible and welcoming to all.

Through Taproot Chick, we’ll share art, host beginner workshops, and build a community centered on empowerment and creativity.

I’m a big fan of Pirates of the Caribbean, so we just had to add this trait inspired by Tia Dalma.

She’s one of my favorite characters - so mysterious and full of magic, with this wild, untamed vibe that’s just unforgettable. I love how she feels so connected to the sea, like she’s part of its mystery.

That energy was exactly what I wanted to bring into Taproot Chicks, and starting with her hair felt like the perfect way to do it.

I’ve been a tattoo artist for 4 years, and while I also worked in US logistics, I’ve always known I wanted to focus on something more creative.
