इस दौरान राहुल गांधी जी ने विश्वकर्मा समाज के प्रतिनिधियों से उनकी समस्याओं और उनके समाधानों पर विचार-विमर्श किया।

विश्वकर्मा समाज के प्रतिनिधियों की मुख्य शिकायतों में- प्रतिनिधित्व की कमी, परंपरागत रोज़गार का छिन जाना- शामिल था।

राहुल गांधी जी और कांग्रेस पार्टी ने देश में 'जातिगत जनगणना' की मांग उठाई है, ताकि समाज के हर वर्ग को प्रतिनिधित्व, भागीदारी और हिस्सेदारी सुनिश्चित हो सके।

हम देश के हुनरमंद लोगों के सम्मान, समानता की लड़ाई में साथ हैं और उन्हें न्याय दिलाकर रहेंगे।
