She first went to Africa in her 20’s and for the next 70 years taught us all that primates—and all of nature’s creations—are part of the same extended family. The Platonic Computer and the Tuning Brain: Simon Duan’s Simulation Theory Meets Neurodivergent Consciousness

Simon Duan, a materials scientist turned consciousness theorist, proposes a bold framework: that consciousness is primary, and our reality is generated by a Platonic computer—a nonphysical computational process rooted in what he calls metaconsciousness. In this view, both matter and mind are rendered outputs of a deeper, organizing system, with our physical universe as just one of many possible “simulations” occurring at different frequencies.

Duan suggests that these parallel universes—each with its own informational frequency—exist simultaneously, like nested Matryoshks dolls, but most of us are “tuned” to just one.
